You sound a tad bitter. You probably don't want to know that he ended his speech by wishing the class of 2009 "God Speed". Or that instead of listening raptly to his speech, your neice took the opportunity to "tan" her legs by sticking them out of her robe. Or that she discussed with her friends how it was cute that I was so impressed with the speaker until she realized that I was "probably" alive when he made his maiden voyage.
